The election outcome in Terrebonne, where Liberal Tatiana Auguste initially won by 35 votes, shifted to a Bloc Québécois victory by 44 votes, and finally reverted to Auguste by a single vote after a judicial recount. However, issues with mail-in ballots sent by Elections Canada, including incorrect postal codes, may lead to a tie, prompting the Bloc to seek a judicial review to potentially rerun the election. This situation raises concerns about the electoral process’s integrity, particularly when some voters in other ridings faced significant voting obstacles without recourse to repeat elections.
