Rowan MacLachlan borrowed a guitar strap from his father, Dave MacLachlan, for a pep rally in 2010, unknowingly selecting a strap signed by Joan Baez in 1985. After losing it, Rowan expressed regret, recognizing its sentimental value as a connection to his father’s past as a musician. He hopes to recover the strap, viewing it as an heirloom and a way to redeem himself, especially since it holds significance after the passing of one of his father’s bandmates.
