German Union Claims Maxwell’s Press Card May Be Fake
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

A press card purportedly issued to Ghislaine Maxwell by the German Journalists’ Union is likely a counterfeit, according to the Verdi trade union in Berlin. The card was discovered among documents related to Jeffrey Epstein released by the U.S. Department of Justice, with discrepancies noted in its serial number compared to authentic cards from 2015. Maxwell, currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking, was found guilty of aiding Epstein in procuring young women. Epstein died in his jail cell in 2019, ruled a suicide by the medical examiner.
