Olivier Renard hired as sporting director of Belgium’s RSC Anderlecht

Renard, who served as sporting director for CF Montréal, was promoted to vice-president and chief sporting officer in June 2022 after implementing a successful development system for the team. Under his leadership, the club achieved significant on-field success, reaching the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Champions League and winning the Canadian Championship Cup. Renard, with experience in Belgian football and as a former goalkeeper, has now joined RSC Anderlecht as the head of recruitment and transfer policy, focusing on working with the country’s top talents.
