Janelle Monáe, Sterling K. Brown Movie ‘Is God Is’ Currently Filming

Cameras are rolling on the set of the Amazon MGM Orion Pictures’ feature adaptation of the play “Is God Is,” featuring Kara Young and Mallori Johnson as twin sisters with disfiguring burn scars seeking revenge on their father. Directed by Aleshea Harris, the film also stars Sterling K. Brown, Vivica A. Fox, and Janelle Monáe. The production is produced by Riva Marker, Janicza Bravo, Tessa Thompson, and Kishori Rajan, with Young and Johnson represented by Gersh, Kipperman Management, WME, and Brillstein Entertainment Partners, while Brown is represented by CAA, JWS Entertainment, and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole, Fox by Sheila Legette Entertainment and Ameri Law PC, and Monáe by WME and Johnson Shapiro Slewett & Kole.
