Former St Kents student Xavi Taele, a recipient of the Michael Garner Scholarship and named in the New Zealand Under-20 side, is set to debut for the Blues at second five-eighths against the Chiefs in Hamilton. The young midfielder, also the captain of the St Kents First XV, aims to help the struggling Blues team secure a much-needed win in the Super Rugby Pacific competition. Taele’s selection showcases the talent and potential he possesses, following his successful stints in both provincial and age-grade rugby competitions.
