Blue Islands Suspends Operations and Cancels All Flights
Share on FacebookShare on Twitter

Airline Blue Islands has suspended trading and cancelled all flights effective November 14, 2025, despite a recent recruitment advertisement. The Channel Islands-based airline had bases in Jersey and Guernsey, and employed around 100 people, warning ticket holders not to travel to airports without alternative arrangements. Several airlines, including Aurigny and Loganair, are assisting stranded passengers, while Blue Islands advised customers to contact banks or agents for refunds. The closure highlights the fragility of regional airlines, exacerbated by financial challenges post-COVID.
