Two law enforcement vehicles collided in Maryville, Tennessee, on Friday night while providing support for Vice President JD Vance’s motorcade, resulting in a police officer being hospitalized in critical condition. The crash involved a state trooper and a motorcycle officer, both of whom were taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for evaluation. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, and the U.S. Secret Service stated that the safety of the motorcade was unaffected. Maryville Police Chief Tony Crisp urged the public to keep the injured officer and their family in their thoughts.
