The daughter of David Creamer, who was shot dead in the Kootenays, has raised concerns over the B.C. Coroners Service’s reliance on non-physician coroners after his death was initially ruled accidental. Following a confession from his killer, Mitchell McIntyre, who also murdered Julia Howe, calls have intensified for B.C. to replace non-doctor coroners with trained medical examiners to prevent similar oversights.
