Kristin Kramer experienced a TIA ten years ago, waking up unable to speak and noticing her right hand was unresponsive; however, after resting for an hour, she felt fine and dismissed the incident. This highlights the importance of recognizing TIAs, as they can have serious long-term effects on cognitive health, even if initial symptoms seem transient.
