2025 Election Debate Summary
Leaders of Canada’s major federal parties, including Liberal Leader Mark Carney, Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, and Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet, will participate in the first nationally televised debate of the 2025 election campaign. This French-language debate, airing tonight at 6 p.m. in Montreal, is crucial for engaging francophone voters and providing a platform for undecided voters ahead of the April 28 election. The National Post will livestream an English-dubbed version along with live analysis from their Ottawa bureau.
