Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced the state’s National Guard is on alert following the fatal shooting of a woman during a federal ICE enforcement operation in Minneapolis. The woman, 37, was shot after allegedly attacking ICE agents attempting to assist a stuck vehicle. Walz emphasized that the National Guard is prepared for deployment if necessary, asserting that Minnesota will not be used in national political conflicts. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem condemned the woman’s actions as “domestic terrorism.”
