Inmate Escapes from Cheshire Prison While Serving 23-Year Sentence

Cheshire Police are seeking public assistance to locate Kieran Cameron, a 43-year-old inmate who absconded from HMP Thorn Cross in Warrington on January 6, 2026. Cameron, serving a 23-year sentence for attempted murder, is described as white, approximately 5ft 6in tall, with a medium build, heavily receding hair, and a ginger and grey beard. Police warn not to approach him and to call 999 if spotted. Cameron has known connections to Manchester, Liverpool, and Dorset.
