Ukrainian President Zelenskyy emphasized the need for increased sanctions against Russia to facilitate peace negotiations, as the Group of Seven nations warned of further sanctions if Russia does not agree to a ceasefire. Ukrainian officials expressed disappointment over the lack of meaningful diplomatic progress following talks in Istanbul.
