Tree planted on McGill campus for Haudenosaunee peace ceremony

A group of Kanien’kehá:ka women planted a tree on McGill’s lower field as a symbolic gesture for peace, aiming to promote peace and justice in Palestine and globally. Nearly 200 people, including students, attended the ceremony, wearing keffiyehs and flags of the Haudenosaunee confederacy.
