After the Salvation Army’s warming centre in Prince Albert was destroyed by fire, a temporary shelter opened at the Prince Albert Grand Council Urban System building, serving over 77 guests. Community members have rallied to support the centre with food, clothing, and volunteer efforts, ensuring no delay in services. Stakeholders are now working to find a permanent location for the centre, with plans in place for operations to continue beyond January 2. Salvation Army Maj. Ed Dean emphasized the journey ahead will require patience and teamwork.
