Alberta Teachers on Strike Demand Pupil-Teacher Ratio in Talks

A rally took place in downtown Calgary on October 5 to support 51,000 Alberta teachers currently on strike since October 6. The teachers’ association revealed that employers have requested their voluntary return to classrooms and negotiations, excluding discussions on class-size caps and pupil-teacher ratios.
