Renowned children’s author Robert Munsch found inspiration for his book Swamp Water over 20 years ago when he met six-year-old Victoria Campbell at a Fredericton restaurant on her birthday. Their encounter led to a story about a girl dining with her grandmother, which was published in 2013 after years of correspondence between them.
