Storm-weary Philippines forcibly evacuates thousands as another typhoon hits

Typhoon Toraji hit northeastern Aurora province in the Philippines, with sustained winds up to 130 km/h. President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. oversaw recovery efforts after the storm and led food distribution to residents. Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla ordered the forcible evacuation of 2,500 villages in the path of the typhoon to prevent flash floods and landslides.
