Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Deschamps Withdraw from Olympic Team Event

World figure skating champions Deanna Stellato-Dudek and Maxime Deschamps of Canada will miss the Olympic team event in Italy due to Stellato-Dudek’s training injury. Her condition is being evaluated daily for the individual pairs event, with the Canadian Olympic Committee prioritizing athlete health. Additionally, snowboard Cross athlete Tess Critchlow has also withdrawn due to injury. Stellato-Dudek, who would be the oldest woman to compete in Olympic figure skating since 1928, recently captured a silver medal at the Canadian championships.
