Over 800 special ballots mistakenly kept in B.C. riding, Elections Canada says

Elections Canada has notified all registered political parties that 822 special ballots were left with the returning officer in the Coquitlam-Port Coquitlam riding. These ballots were cast by electors across 74 electoral districts throughout the country. This situation raises concerns regarding the proper handling and counting of votes in the electoral process.
