Second dead grey whale in less than a week washes ashore in B.C.

A second dead grey whale has washed ashore in British Columbia in less than a week, reported on May 11 in Haida Gwaii.

Fisheries and Oceans Canada has confirmed the incident and is currently collaborating with local First Nations to coordinate a necropsy.

A marine mammal response team is involved in the efforts to investigate the cause of death.
