Quebec government to gauge international interest in third link project

Quebec Transport Minister Geneviève Guilbault announced plans to gauge international interest for a new traffic link between Quebec City and Lévis, with a contract expected in 2027. Despite previous warnings against the project, Premier François Legault cited economic security as a reason for the additional bridge. The transport ministry is considering various options, including infrastructure in downtown Quebec City and lanes for public transit.
