Ontario Premier Doug Ford has directed the Attorney General to seek a court injunction against the Al-Quds Day rally in Toronto, scheduled for Saturday, following recent attacks on synagogues in the city. Ford condemned the rally as a platform for hate and antisemitism, echoing concerns from city councillors who are also advocating for legal action to prevent the event. Al-Quds Day, established by Ayatollah Khomeini in 1979, is intended to show solidarity with Palestinians, but often features calls for violence against Israel.
