Veteran actor Sayaji Shinde has joined the Ajit Pawar-led NCP ahead of the Maharashtra assembly elections, where he will serve as the star campaigner. Shinde, known for his roles in various Indian language films, expressed admiration for Pawar’s style of functioning and will contest from Baramati if the seat is allotted to the NCP. The party’s state minister praised Shinde’s diverse filmography and social activism, while an announcement on seat sharing is expected soon.
