Qatar’s Permanent Representative to United Nations Meets United States Envoy to Sudan

HE Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the UN, met with Tom Perriello, US Special Envoy to Sudan, to discuss the worsening humanitarian situation in Sudan. She highlighted Qatar’s ongoing air bridge to Sudan since May 2023 as part of their support for the Sudanese people. The meeting focused on Qatar’s commitment to assisting Sudan and addressing the critical needs of its people.
