QatarEnergy CEO Saad al-Kaabi warned US officials about potential negative impacts on energy infrastructure following Iranian attacks, particularly targeting Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City. He noted that the attacks could disrupt liquefied natural gas (LNG) deliveries to Europe and Asia for up to five years, impacting 17 percent of Qatar’s export capacity. Al-Kaabi indicated that recovery would require a cessation of hostilities and take several months to fully resume production.
