PQ will run its president in Terrebonne byelection

The Parti Québécois has selected its president, Catherine Gentilcore, as the party’s candidate in the upcoming byelection in Terrebonne riding. Despite the need for a nomination race, Gentilcore already has the endorsement of leader Paul St-Pierre Plamondon and aims to focus on the party’s social project and independence. The other parties have also announced their candidates, with the byelection expected to take place by March 5.
