UN says Israel using ‘unlawful lethal force’ in raids on Jenin

The United Nations expresses deep concern over the Israeli military’s use of “unlawful lethal force” in raids on Jenin, West Bank, using warfighting methods and violating international human rights law. Israeli forces have blocked entrances to Jenin city and refugee camp, resulting in 12 deaths, numerous injuries, detentions, and forced evacuations. Palestinian leaders denounce the actions as “ethnic cleansing” and call for unity against Israeli repression and genocide.
