Club Chemistry staff member diagnosed with meningitis

A meningitis outbreak in Kent has resulted in the deaths of two students, including 18-year-old Juliette from Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School and a University of Kent student. The UK Health Security Agency has confirmed 13 cases linked to the outbreak, which is believed to have originated at Club Chemistry. Health officials are urging over 30,000 students and staff to seek antibiotics as a precautionary measure.
