A 51-year-old man from North Rustico, P.E.I., named Daniel Desmond Crowder, is facing the first terrorism charges in Atlantic Canada, related to 3D-printed firearms and issuing threats. The charges include facilitating terrorist activities by possessing and manufacturing illegal weapons. Crowder was already under a terrorism peace bond prior to these charges, which remain in effect, and he is currently in custody with no ongoing risk to the public. He is scheduled to appear in court for a bail hearing and arraignment on December 9.
