A B.C. bill to expedite the construction of the North Coast Transmission Line, which will double electricity flow from Prince George to Terrace, passed its third reading in the legislature. The $6 billion project, central to Premier David Eby’s economic strategy, aims to support critical mineral projects and LNG terminals. The Canada Infrastructure Bank is set to loan B.C. Hydro $140 million for the project.
