The first commercial rocket launch from Canada is set to occur at the Atlantic Spaceport Complex in Newfoundland, featuring the Taiga rocket developed by the Markham-based company Nordspace, founded by Rahul Goel. The launch, named “Getting Screeched In,” aims to advance Canadian space capabilities with its 3D printed Hadfield engines and could lead to future developments like the larger Tundra rocket by 2027.
