Moh Ahmed Returns for Canadian Cross-Country Race on Saturday

Ben Preisner will compete in the Canadian cross-country championships for the first time since 2019, facing strong contenders like Philippe Morneau-Cartier, Connor Black, and last-minute entrant Moh Ahmed. Ahmed, a decorated distance runner, is returning after an injury hiatus and aims for a top-10 finish to qualify for the World Athletics Cross Country Championships in January. Preisner, coming off a successful marathon season, seeks a different racing experience while enjoying the challenge of cross-country. The race is set for Saturday at Fanshawe Golf Course, featuring a challenging two-kilometre grass loop.
