Canada’s women’s hockey team secured their place in the Olympic gold-medal game by defeating Switzerland 2-1 in the semifinals, with captain Marie-Philip Poulin scoring both goals. They will face the United States, who dominated Sweden 5-0, in a highly anticipated matchup. Despite a previous loss to the U.S. in the preliminary round, Canada aims to leverage their experience and Poulin’s return to challenge the younger, faster American team. The final promises to be a fierce battle for Olympic gold.
