Massive Pokémon leak exposes beta designs, source codes and plans for upcoming titles

Game Freak, the developer of Pokémon, confirmed a breach where internal materials like source codes and character designs were leaked on social media. The leaked content includes past game source codes, Switch 2 and Gen 10 Pokémon game codenames, details on an in-development Pokémon MMO, and unreleased Detective Pikachu sequel information. The leak also exposes beta character designs, concept art, and personal information of over 2,600 Game Freak employees, prompting the company to strengthen security measures and issue an apology.
