BJP finalises Rajasthan by-election candidates amid rumours of rift following Raje’s absence

The state BJP in Jaipur has finalized a panel of candidates for upcoming by-elections on seven assembly seats in Rajasthan, approved by the core committee in a meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence. Former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje’s absence from the meeting has fueled rumors of internal discord, as she has distanced herself from party activities since being replaced. The finalised panel will be presented at a meeting in Delhi chaired by BJP National President JP Nadda, with key Rajasthan representatives and Union Ministers participating.
