In 2006, after exploring business expansion opportunities in Asia, we established a presence in Tokyo. George and I agreed that succeeding in Japan required patience and a long-term approach, anticipating a slower build-up compared to other Asian markets. We decided not to rush, believing that it would be wise to invest a decade before pursuing our first deal in Japan.
