Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew has reached out to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz following the fatal shooting of American citizen Alex Pretti by U.S. immigration officials, urging President Trump to halt the violence. Kinew expressed outrage over the incident, emphasizing that no one wants to see citizens shot in the streets. He called for “moral clarity” and criticized the administration’s approach to immigration, linking it to the recent deaths of citizens. This incident follows another shooting of a U.S. citizen by ICE, prompting protests in Minneapolis.
