Man on probation charged in Mississauga break-in, Porsche theft

21-year-old Caden Edwards of Barrie, prohibited from driving in Ontario and on probation, was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Mississauga residence and stealing a 2016 Porsche. Peel Regional Police began investigating the incident on June 15, 2024, where the suspect took property and the vehicle, despite being banned from driving in the province. Edwards faces charges including breaking and entering, theft of a motor vehicle, breach of probation, and operation while prohibited, and was held for a bail hearing.
