Brampton landlord reports tenant stopped paying rent and won’t leave

A tenant, who previously claimed an income of $120,000 as an online content creator, faces eviction for allegedly not paying rent for nearly a year. Current landlord Ramanjeet Singh seeks an eviction order after she failed to pay over $23,000 in rent and utilities since moving into his Brampton townhouse in April 2025. This is not her first eviction; she previously owed $59,000 in back rent to a former landlord in Toronto. As Singh prepares for a hearing on April 9, he expresses financial strain and regrets his rental decision.
