The Manitoba Inuit Association (MIA) has appointed an interim CEO amidst a petition with over 1,200 signatures calling for an investigation into CEO Nastania Mullin, who faces allegations of sexual and physical abuse. This situation has sparked an #InuitMeToo movement, as Inuit women and gender-diverse individuals share their stories, leading to the resignation of board member Joanie French due to resistance against her calls for an independent inquiry.
