Smaller alcohol producers, retailers urge Doug Ford to say no to store-brand booze sales

Ontario is exploring the possibility of allowing “private label” alcohol products in stores, following consultations with alcohol retailers and producers. While larger retailers support this move, several industry groups have expressed concerns in a letter to the premier, arguing that it could negatively impact smaller retailers and producers.
