B.C. recruits over 400 U.S. health-care workers in one year

Dr. Anne Herdman Royal relocated to British Columbia from the U.S. following a mass shooting at her workplace in Oklahoma. She is among 414 American health-care workers who accepted jobs in B.C. as part of a recruitment campaign targeting U.S. professionals disillusioned with the American system. Health Minister Josie Osborne noted that this influx could significantly increase access to primary care. The province aims to expand its recruitment efforts across more regions in the U.S.
