Here’s who is nominated for the 2025 Canadian Screen Awards

Nominations for the 2025 Canadian Screen Awards were dominated by the crime series Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent in both television and overall categories, while Universal Language led in the film category. Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent received 20 nods, including best lead performer for Kathleen Munroe, drama series, and best direction. Universal Language, directed by Matthew Rankin, earned 13 nominations, including best motion picture and achievement in direction. The annual event, recognizing excellence in Canadian film, television, and digital media, is set to begin on May 30 and will be hosted by comedian Lisa Gilroy, airing live on CBC Gem at 8 p.m. ET.
