Gen Z Canadians show increased support for Iranian regime, poll finds

A recent poll reveals that 20% of Canadian Gen Z respondents support political backing for the Iranian regime amidst the ongoing conflict in Iran, contrasting sharply with nearly zero support from older age groups. While half of all Canadians prefer a neutral stance, many younger individuals seem influenced by social media narratives regarding the regime. The poll indicates a significant gap in understanding among different age cohorts, with misconceptions about Iranian Canadians’ views on the war prevalent in the younger demographic.
