Case Against Frank Stronach at Toronto Rape Trial

An elderly woman testified in court about an alleged sexual assault by billionaire Frank Stronach that occurred in Toronto in 1977, shortly after her birthday. She described a dinner at Rooney’s, Stronach’s nightclub, followed by a visit to his apartment where he allegedly assaulted her. Stronach, now 93, faces 12 charges related to incidents involving seven women between 1977 and 1990, all of whom came forward in the wake of the #MeToo movement. The defense is set to begin presenting evidence next week.
