Former Trans Mountain CEO Dawn Farrell has been appointed to lead the federal government’s major projects office, aimed at expediting infrastructure project approvals. Under Prime Minister Mark Carney, the office will focus on nation-building projects like port expansions, with an emphasis on Indigenous consultation and a gradual announcement of selected projects.
