DJI sues the US Department of Defense for labeling it a ‘Chinese Military Company’

DJI, the world’s largest drone company, is suing the US Department of Defense to remove its name from a list of “Chinese Military Companies,” denying any ties to the Chinese government and claiming unfair treatment since its 2022 designation. Despite allegations of aiding human rights abuses and spying, DJI asserts it is not controlled by the Chinese government, has aided US entities, and is now facing potential import bans in the US due to security concerns.
