Edmonton Conservative MP Matt Jeneroux has switched allegiance to the governing Liberals, as announced by Prime Minister Mark Carney on social media. Carney expressed his honor in welcoming Jeneroux, who has represented Edmonton Riverbend since 2015, to the Liberal caucus and appointed him as a special advisor on economic and security partnerships. Jeneroux is the third Conservative MP to join the Liberals, following Michael Ma and Chris d’Entremont.
